People jumping up in the air

Evidence shows that early help is vital to ensuring children and young people have access to the support they need to achieve better outcomes in life. In Bath and North East Somerset the Integrated Working Team exists to support different agencies and partners in working together to bring our services to children, young people and families in need of additional support via a multi-agency assessment (Early Help Assessment).

There are many different people that can offer help and support to families. At its heart integrated working is about ensuring these people are communicating effectively so as to maximise the potential positive impact interventions can have for those accessing services. Integrated working brings together people from different areas of the workforce in a co-ordinated way and helps to provide a more holistic, wrap-around package of support to those that need it, at an early stage when interventions are most important.

If you are considering an Early Help Assessment for a family, please contact the Integrated Working Team for advice on 01225 395021 or IWT@bathnes.gov.uk
