Do you feel like you need a bit of help with certain day-to-day tasks at home? Some people have family or friends who can give them this help, but if you don’t, or you would like someone to take the pressure off your family and friends, please speak to us about your needs.
Find out more about how to get information and advice about care and support to see what help is available for you. We can also talk to you about whether you are eligible for support for care at home from the council.
Whether you are eligible for council support or you are paying you care at home privately, care at home is a good way of getting some extra help so that you can stay living in your own home. Depending on your needs, trained and supportive care workers or nurses can help you with daily living tasks such as shopping, laundry, bathing, going to the toilet, preparing meals, medication and getting out and about.
If you have any feedback or comments about care and support, please get in touch.
