The Planning and Compulsory Purchase Act 2004 as amended by the Localism Act 2011, requires all local planning authorities to prepare and maintain a Local Development Scheme (LDS).
The LDS is a timetable for the production of the Local Plan, Development Plan Documents and Supplementary Planning Documents that the Council is preparing, or intends to prepare. These documents are known collectively as Local Development Documents (LDDs). It is the starting point for residents and stakeholders to find out what planning policies relate to their area and how these will be reviewed.
A review of the Local Development Scheme (LDS) 2017-2020 has been published, within it you will find the revised LDS timetable.
