The Chair of the Council often hosts Civic Receptions for delegates to conferences being held in the Bath and North East Somerset area. Civic Receptions can be held in Council owned premises, including the Roman Baths, Pump Rooms, Assembly Rooms or the Victoria Art Gallery.

To qualify for consideration for a Civic Reception conferences should be taking place in the Bath & North East Somerset area, have guests staying within Bath & North East Somerset and be attended by at least 100 delegates.

Whilst every application will be considered fully, conference organisers are advised not to confirm any arrangements with delegates until they have been notified that their application for a Civic Reception has been successful.
