(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF USE BY VEHICLES) ORDER 2024

Notice is given that Bath and North East Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 has made an order the effect of which will be to temporarily introduce a road closure in that length of Jews Lane / Lansdown View, Twerton, Bath from its junction with the A36 Lower Bristol Road continuing south and along Lansdown View to its junction with Albany Road. USRN: 47900950 / 47901016.

This order is required because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road to enable Contractors carry out crane works, general construction works and utility works on the 1^st July 2024 for a maximum period of 10 months. The road will only be restricted as and when traffic signs are in position and may not be effected for the whole of the period but only for so long as is necessary to execute the works

The road will not be closed for the whole period and closures will only be in place when signs are in position.

ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Northbound: Lansdown View – Shophouse Road – High Street – Connection Road – A36 Lower Bristol Road.

Southbound: A36 Lower Bristol Road - High Street – Shophouse Road – Lansdown View.
