Notice is hereby given that the Bath and North East Somerset Council in pursuance of the provisions of section 16A of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 has made an order the effect of which will be to temporarily restrict vehicular traffic in the following roads:
(a)To temporarily close Milsom Street, Bath for its entire length;
(b)To temporarily close New Bond Street, Bath for its entire length;
(c)To temporarily close Quiet Street, Bath for its entire length;
(d)To temporarily close Green Street, Bath for its entire length;
(e)To temporarily close Wood Street, Bath for its entire length;
(f) To introduce a temporary reversal of the one-way working on Barton Street to allow vehicles to travel in the opposite direction during the times stated in Schedule 1.
(g)To temporarily suspend the cycleway order on that length of cycleway which extends from its junction with John Street and Queen Street to its junction with Barton Street and the cycleway that runs the length of Barton Street whilst this order is in operation.
(h)Bollards to be removed at Beauford Square to allow vehicles to exit the area onto Monmouth Street. The order is required to facilitate the holding of Bath Autumn Fayre, from 15.00hrs on Thursday 10th October 2024 until 20:00hrs on Sunday 13th October 2024. Road closures and diversions will only be in operation when signs are in position. Schedule 1 and 2 sets out the various diversion routes required whilst Bath Autumn Fayre is taking place.
