NOTICE is given that the Bath and North East Somerset Council has made an order on the 8th December 2022 under provisions contained in the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will introduce the following variations to restrictions in Central Bath area:-

 

1.    

Introduce No Parking At Any Time in lengths of London Road, Cleveland Place, Nelson Place and London Street, Bath.

2.    

Introduce Permit Holders and 1 hour Limited Waiting, operating between 8am – 6pm in lengths of London Road, Cleveland Place and London Street, Bath.

3.    

Introduce No Parking Between Times in lengths of London Road and Cleveland Place, Bath.

4.    

Introduce 1 hour Limited Waiting, operating between 8am – 6pm in lengths of London Road, and London Street, Bath.

5.    

Introduce 30 Minute Limited Waiting, operating between 8am – 6pm in lengths of Cleveland Place, Bath.

6.    

Introduce a Motorcycle Bay, operating between 8am – 6pm in lengths of Cleveland Place, Bath.

7.    

Introduce No Waiting At Any Time and No Loading Between Times in lengths of London Street, Bath.

 

The order will come into operation on 31st July 2023. Full details of the proposal together with a map and a Statement of the Council’s Reasons for making the order may be inspected at the One Stop Shops at Manvers Street, Bath, The Hollies, High Street, Midsomer Norton and at the Civic Centre, Market Walk, Keynsham during normal office hours. The proposal may also be viewed on the Council’s website by typing in the web address: www.bathnes.gov.uk/LNRPZ

 

Any person who desires to question the validity of, or any provision contained in the order on the grounds that it is not within the powers of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or on the grounds that any of the relevant requirements of that Act has not been complied with in relation to the order, may within six weeks after the date on which the order was made, apply to the High Court for this purpose.

2.

6.    

Introduce 1 hour Limited Waiting, operating between 8am – 6pm in lengths of London Road, Camden Road and Snow Hill, Bath.

7.    

Introduce Loading Only in lengths of London Road, Bath.

8.    

Introduce No Waiting and No Loading At Any Time in lengths of London Road and Snow Hill, Bath.
