Book a promotional street pitch

Promotional pitches are areas of the highway that we allow organisations to promote charitable causes, events or products on.

There are two pitches in Bath.

• Kingsmead Square
• Old Bond Street

It costs £75 per pitch, per day to book. You can book multiple pitches and multiple days.

We provide this facility for organisations to promote events and causes in the city centre. We incur costs for managing the booking system, responding to queries, and carrying out checks of the bookings by officers. The £75 charge covers these costs and will be reviewed each year.

Before you book it

You can book a pitch for a full day, even if you choose not to stay all day. If you are planning on making multiple bookings and will be carrying out different activities each day, then you will need to make each booking individually. Please read our terms and conditions before booking.

WarningIf you are planning to collect money on the same day, you will need to apply for a street collection permit before you book the pitch. Street collections are only permitted on certain streets in Bath.

Before you book a pitch, you will need the following information:

• the name of the organisation
• the dates you want to book
• a credit or debit card to pay for the booking
• a copy of your Certificate of Public Liability insurance, if you want to put equipment on the highway
• your street collection permit number, if you are collecting money on the same day as your booking

Next steps

You will need to have your booking reference number with you on the day of your booking. If you are putting equipment on the highway, you will also need to have a copy of your Certificate of Public Liability insurance.

If you are planning to collect money, you will also need a street collection permit, and must have this with you on the day.

Booking fees are non-refundable. If you need to rearrange the date of your booking you can do this through the link in your confirmation email, or through your booking account.
