Bath & North East Somerset Council is reviewing the Keynsham Conservation Areas. As part of the review, a Keynsham Conservation Area Appraisal and an accompanying Management Plan have been prepared. The published draft documents are available to view or download and will be available in the Keynsham Library during the usual opening hours.
Keynsham residents are being given the opportunity to have their say on a range of issues affecting the future of the town. Bath & North East Somerset Council wants to hear the views of local people on a number of key issues that will form part of the Placemaking Plan. There are five key projects that the Council are seeking views on:-

Bath is embarking on the next stage of its development legacy with the recent adoption of the Bath Riverside Masterplan. Key to its success will be effective connectivity and access. The existing Park and Ride sites are very popular with the public and have recently been expanded. But people from the east have limited choices about where to park and face long queues, especially along London Road.
Bath and North East Somerset Council would like to engage with local residents, communities and providers, on its draft Sexual Health Strategy.

Under the Flood and Water Management Act (2010), Bath & North East Somerset Council is a Lead Local Flood Authority This means the Council has powers and responsibilities for managing local flood risk.
