The purpose of processing
We are collecting and publishing case studies from residents and local businesses that are using sustainable or alternative transport in and around BANES. We hope that these stories will encourage others to make similar changes to the way that they get around. This is an initiative run by the council’s environmental services and sustainability departments.

How is it used?
We’ll store your personal data only for the purposes of contacting you about your case study and to obtain consent to publish it or make revisions.
Only with your written consent, will the information you personally provide in your case study be published on the council’s website, on social media and in printed leaflets.

Personal data will only be retained for as long as it is needed for the purpose specified above and no longer than three years to April 2022.
