The purpose of processing

We will use your personal data to ensure that you are kept up to date with activities and we may use data that you provide to us in order to book you onto activities. Information that you provide will also be used to set up gym membership.

How is it used?

We will only use your personal details for the following purposes;
To contact you and provide information regarding events.
To telephone you in case of issues with your membership or any action that we are undertaking on your behalf such as setting up a gym membership of purchasing tickets.
Bank account details will only be requested and used to process refunds in the event that an activity is cancelled or change or for any other reason that may require us to return money to you.
To check your eligibility with the Payroll team to ensure that you are a BANES staff member.

Profiling and automated decision making

We will not use any automated decision making when processing your personal data.

Sharing of personal data with external recipients

We may share your data with event organisers when you indicate that you are happy for us to do so.
Greenwich Leisure Ltd. and Writhlington Leisure Centre for Gym Membership.

How long is the personal data retained by the Council?

Records may be retained for up to 7 years for the purposes of financial auditing.
