A photograph of every new tenant or licence holder

How long is the personal data retained by the Council?
Personal data will only be retained for as long as it is needed for the purpose specified above, or as required by applicable law or regulatory requirements.
The Council will maintain information on its licences and tenancies – including tenants’/licencees’ names, dates of birth and the type and length of their tenancies/licences – for up to 75 years to assess qualifying Right to Buy applications. Records that are otherwise created for the purposes of administration, management or any other purposes related to the temporary accommodation will be retained for up to 7 years after the cessation of involvement between parties.
