We will record the details that you provide to us to support you in getting your COVID-19 vaccination(s) or will record that you do not wish to be contacted by the Council or an NHS organisation again regarding Covid-19 vaccination.

How is it used?
We will keep the information that we have received from the NHS and the information you provide on council computers in files only accessible by the Public Health & Public Protection Team. The team will call you. In some cases, they will refer you to another council or NHS Service, but we will not share the information unless you specifically request for us to do so.

We have been asked to carry this work out through the Joint Committee on Vaccination & Immunisations (JCVI), NHS England, and local Integrated Care Boards (ICB).

Sharing of personal data with external recipients
We will not share your personal data with any other organisation though we may provide it to other relevant areas of the council or NHS who will be able to support you or deal with any specific needs that you may have. This will not be done without your permission.
How long is the personal data retained by the Council?
We will retain your data for up to 2 years after which it may be anonymised in such a way that you are no longer identifiable. The remaining information may be used for research and statistical purposes.
