Early Help Assessments (EHA) Privacy Notice

The purpose of processing

To work with you, we need to collect information about you and your family. This information is called Personal Data; to work out what help you or your family may need, to make sure we are acting in your best interest and to make it less likely that statutory services, such as Social Care, will be involved.

To think about ways to improve our service

How long is the personal data retained by the Council?

We will usually keep information until your 25th birthday. Sometimes we may need to keep it for longer but would talk with you about this at the time.

Appeals to the Information Commissioner’s Office

If you are unhappy about the way we have treated your personal data, or feel we have not properly respected your data subject rights, you have the right to contact the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) and tell them about this.
