The purpose of processing

The information we collect will be used to write a report 'Young people and libraries – Have your say survey findings - Library Services and the needs of 11–18-year-olds in Bath and North East Somerset'. This report will be used by our Library Services to understand your needs

How is it used?

We may publish information about this work on our website and share a summary of this report with the schools involved. All feedback used in this report will recorded anonymously – this means that your name will not be used. The full report will be retained permanently by the Library Service and the Council as a record of our work with young people.

Your school may give us some information about the group you took part in – this might include gender and year group. This information will not include names, addresses or any other identifiable information about individuals- it will only be used to help us understand the range of young people we have spoken to.

We will only share the audio recordings within the working group that is creating the report.

How long is the personal data retained by the Council?

Personal data will only be retained for as long as it is needed for the purpose specified above, or as required by applicable law or regulatory requirements.
