The purpose of processing
We process personal data in order to issue Bus Lane and Parking Penalty Charge Notices (PCN) under the Traffic Management Act 2004 and Transportation Act 2000. These will be issued where vehicles are in contravention of restrictions prescribed within Traffic Regulation Orders.

Sharing of personal data with external recipients
We may share your personal data with Northampton County Court, and contracted enforcement agents and Vehicle Removal Contractors, in order to recover unpaid Penalty Charges.
How long is the personal data retained by the Council?
We will keep your data for one full year after the completion of the year in which your Penalty Charge Notice is closed.
