How is it used?
We will use your personal data to book your appointment at the nominated test centre
Some information, such as your name and address will be shared with the testing teams managing the centre and carrying out the test
To identify who is due to attend a testing appointment
To provide you with confirmation of your appointment
To provide you with reminders to book your next test
For feedback surveys on your experience of the Lateral Flow booking and testing for evaluation purposes
To evaluate the service and inform the need for any future sites (address information)
Line of work data will be used understand which workforces are using the sites and to help us target future engagement work with relevant workforces

Article 6.1 e - Exercise of official authority
As a data subject, you have a number of rights. Your rights are set out in Articles 13 to 22 of the General Data Protection Regulations and include: access and obtain a copy of your data on request, require the Council to change incorrect or incomplete data, require the Council to delete or stop processing your data, for example where the data is no longer necessary for the purposes of processing, object to the processing of your data where the Council is relying on Article 6(1)(e) as the legal ground for processing and ask the Council to stop processing data for a period if data is inaccurate or there is a dispute about whether or not your interests override the Council's legitimate grounds for processing data.

Sharing of personal data with external recipients
Your personal information may be shared with external service providers, contracted to act on our behalf, in order to provide the lateral flow test that you have requested from us, and to manage the testing centre location. We will only share information which is relevant and necessary for the provision of the service.
How long is the personal data retained by the Council?
Personal data will be retained for six months, or until rapid (lateral flow) testing is no longer required, whichever is sooner, to allow for follow-up test reminders and satisfaction surveys to be sent. Anonymised data will be retained until rapid (lateral flow) testing is no longer required, or for 12 months, whichever is sooner, for the data to be used to map how many people have had a test, where they live and their line of work.
