The purpose of processing
The purpose of processing your personal data is so that you can stay informed, volunteer, or take part in events and activities organised by Somer Valley Rediscovered. Somer Valley Rediscovered is a Green Infrastructure Project, led by Bath & North East Somerset (B&NES) Council, Wessex Water, Natural England and the University of Bath, funded by The West of England Combined Authority. The project has dual aims of improving biodiversity whilst better connecting communities to their local greenspaces and landscapes.

Data subjects are any members of the public who enquire with or participate in the Somer Valley Rediscovered Project

We will collect:

• NHS number, or GP information
• Information relating to your physical or mental health

• Allow you to volunteer with us
• Allow you to participate in an event or activity
• Keep you updated on project news via our newsletter
• Understand your needs and offer you the right support
• Evaluate and assess how well the Project is meeting its objectives
Evaluations and reports that your information may inform include:
• Local (i.e. Bath and North East Somerset Council-led) evaluations of the service
• Local (i.e. Bath and North East Somerset Council-led) reports and business cases to support monitoring of the service and to potentially secure further funding
Information that contributes to any reports or evaluations will be anonymised to protect the confidentiality of individuals at all times. This means that no personal information that could be used to identify you (i.e. name, address, DOB) will be included.

Your Information will be stored online in an online Information management system, Riviam. Safeguards have been put in place to ensure your information is not accessed unnecessarily
