The Security Industry Authority distributes money it has received through proceeds of crime confiscation orders.
It give this money to registered charities and Community Interest Companies across the UK to support one or more of the following:
- people working, or intending to work, in the UK private security industry
- the UK private security industry as a whole, and/or
- public protection in the UK (for example, by preventing terrorism and crime, or protecting vulnerable people and communities).
Last year the SIA gave over £72,000 to support 7 initiatives.
The deadline for applications is 11:59pm on Friday 21 February 2025.
