Grants of up to £2,000 GBP/2,000 Euros are available to not-for-profit organisations, including registered charities, Community Interest Companies and sports clubs in the UK and the Republic of Ireland for the improvement of facilities, purchasing new equipment, coaching qualifications and investing in the sustainability of sports clubs.
Groups must solely be delivering activities to adults (18+) to be eligible for funding. They will prioritise applications focused on 18-25 year olds. You cannot apply if your organisation or club runs junior activities.
Applicants must demonstrate that they are using sport for social purposes, for example (please note that this is not an exclusive list):
- Addressing local issues such as crime and anti-social behaviour.
- Engaging people from under-represented groups, or
- Targeting communities facing disadvantage.
Please be aware that the programme may close early if it receives a large volume of applications. Only £200,000 is available in this round.
Successful applicants are expected to be notified by the end of January 2024.
The current round of Cash4Clubs grants is being managed by Sported UK, a UK wide charity promoting fairness and equity for young people through grassroots sport and physical activity
