Generally, small grants are made to a large number of UK charitable organisations working locally to Squire Patton Boggs’ offices in Birmingham, Leeds, London and Manchester. Organisations working nationally and internationally are also supported. The Squire Patton Boggs Charitable Trust is the charitable arm of the global law firm, Squire Patton Boggs.
The Trust, which is funded primarily by contributions from many of the firm’s UK and European equity partners, makes donations to charitable organisations that submit applications to it. The charity’s objects are for “General Charitable Purposes throughout England and Wales” and it supports UK registered charities that, in the main, work with children and young people, the elderly and disabled, and voluntary bodies with charitable status. Charities working in areas of healthcare and research are also frequently supported.
Grants can be for a few hundred pounds to over £5,000.
