Historic schools public notices

We have a statutory duty to publish notices when there are proposals to change our schools provision in any of the following ways:

• Closure of a school
• Opening of a new school
• Expansion of a school
• Amalgamation of two or more schools
• Open competition among education providers for the contract to run a school

These proposals will be followed by a public consultation on the full proposal, and there will be a public notification of our final decision.

PROPOSAL TO CLOSE CAMERTON CHURCH SCHOOL, CAMERTON, BA2 0PS 02/02/2018 The proposal Bath and North East Somerset Council is proposing to close Camerton Church School in Camerton. Before this change can be made the Council is required to publish a statutory notice detailing how the full proposal can be accessed and how comments can be submitted.
