The First Response Team are the first team you'll speak to if you need to access the Adult Social Care service. Use this page to learn what we do, and how to contact us.
What the First Response Team do
If you are a member of the public not already known to the Adult Social Care service, or you are known to the service but do not have an allocated worker within the Social Care service, we can provide a first point of contact if you need to get in touch with the Adult Social Care Service.
When you contact us, we triage all enquiries and determine:
- whether the enquiry is appropriate for the service, if not we will try and identify somewhere to refer you for help
- which service is required, the First Response Team only provide contact with the following services:
- Information and advice
- Building on strength conversation
- Short-term support
- Care and Support Needs Assessment
- Carers Assessment
- Occupational Therapy Assessment
- what the level of urgency/risk is
