While we proactively maintain council-owned parks and green spaces, we also provide maintenance services such as tree surgeries and inspections to private customers for competitive prices.
Tree surgeries and inspections
Our Tree Team offer competitive prices for tree inspections and tree surgery work.
Our staff are fully qualified and we will do our very best to fit into your preferred timescales. We can also respond to emergencies, such as a fallen tree or branch.

If the emergency happens outside of normal working hours, please contact 01225 477 477 to report the issue to the Parks Duty Officer.
Non-native invasive plant species treatment
On council-owned land, we treat non-native invasive plant species such as:
- Japanese Knotweed
- Giant Hogweed
- Himalayan Balsam
- Ragwort
- Rhododendron ponticum
If you think there are non-native invasive species growing on private land or on your land or property, we can provide you with identification, treatment and removal. However, we will charge you for this service.
