Wiltshire-based the Four Barrows Foundation is a recently formed family grant-making charity that aims to help young children and their families who face challenging circumstances by supporting learning and life skills from early years through primary education.
The Foundation will provide grants for smaller charities, primary schools and organisations focussed on learning and life skills from early years through primary education for children and young people up to the age of 12.
Grants of between £1,000 and £3,000 are available over 1 or more years. The occasional larger grant may be made if the Foundation considers a project to be of exceptional merit.
Further information, guidance and an application form is available on the Foundation’s website.
Applications may be made at any time. The Foundation has stated that it will meet “in the early part of the year” to consider applications and award grants.
