A small number of grants are available to UK registered charities in the areas of healthcare, social welfare, medical research, the environment and children and young people, with a preference for supporting charities in the South West of England. The Trust has also previously supported arts charities.
Bath, Somerset based grant-making charity the Annett Charitable Trust was constituted under a trust deed following the direction of the Will of Margaret Dorothy Annett, who died on the 28th March 2003.
While the Trust will fund across the United Kingdom, particularly in the area of medical research, it has a preference for supporting charities working in the healthcare sector in the South West of England.
Please note that the Trust does not provide a list of grant recipients in its annual accounts, nor does it maintain a website. Further information is, however, available on the Charity Commission website.
Requests for grant support may be made at any time in writing.
