Grants averaging £700 are available to registered charities and charitable organisations for local community projects in areas in which the Hendy Car Dealership has a presence (i.e. Devon, Dorset, Wiltshire, Hampshire, East Sussex, West Sussex, Surrey and Kent).
The Hendy Group donates £2 to the Foundation for every car it sells. The Foundation has stated that it wishes to support a wide variety of charitable projects in the geographic areas referred to above.
Charitable organisations may apply for a grant of between £500 and £5,000, although grants over £1,000 tend to be exceptional. The average grant award is around £700. There is no requirement for matched funding.

The Foundation meets every three months, usually in January, April, July and October, to review applications.
