Grants up to £10,000 are available to individuals - or UK registered charities and community groups acting on behalf of an individual - to enable people to thrive following a severe personal injury, accident or clinical negligence. Individuals may also apply to the Fund.
The Foundation has not provided a minimum or maximum grant level. Grants can be used for:
- Aids
- Equipment
- Home adaptations
- Medical costs
- Rehabilitation treatment, and
- Respite care or other activities that help individuals with their recovery or quality of life
Funding is not available for:
- Individuals who are able to support themselves financially, either personally or through their family.
- Individuals who are eligible for any compensation award.
- Individuals who have already received a compensation award, or
- Individuals that can be supported through the National Health Service.
