Grants between £500 and £2,500 for projects and activities that conserve and enhance the special qualities of the Cotswolds Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
The Cotswolds Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB) is the largest AONB in England and Wales. It stretches from the border regions of South Warwickshire and Worcestershire, through West Oxfordshire and Gloucestershire and takes in parts of Wiltshire and of Bath and North East Somerset in the south.
The Caring for the Cotswolds grant programme offers grants of between £500 and £2,500 for projects and activities that conserve and enhance the special qualities of the Cotswolds Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, and improves the public's understanding and enjoyment of what makes the area special.
Projects should support at least one of the following themes:
- Conservation of habitats and species.
- Education and interpretation.
- Heritage and landscape, and/or
- Improving access.
