The Kingsgrove Charitable Trust

A limited number of small grants are available to UK registered charities working in the UK and overseas to relieve poverty.

The Kingsgrove Charitable Trust is a small grant-making charity based in Oxfordshire whose annual expenditure has been decreasing in recent years.

The Trust’s main objective is the relief of poverty.  Its grants are widely distributed to registered charities in the United Kingdom and overseas. Individuals can also be awarded a grant.

The Charity Commission gives the Trust’s objectives as:

  • The relief of poverty, and
  • Religious activities (trustees are also involved in the Penuel Trust, the Achor Trust and the Hananiah Charitable Trust, all of which have a religious focus).

The listing on the Charity Commission gives the Trust’s preferred beneficiaries as:

  • Children/young People, and
  • Elderly/old People.

Please note that the Trust does not have a website, nor does it publish a list of grant recipients in its annual accounts.  Further information about the Trust is available on the Charity Commission website.

Trustees meet approximately every three months to consider requests for grant support.

Applications may be made at any time in writing.
