Project Grants

Project grants up to £2,500 are available for smaller UK registered charities.

The 7stars Foundation is a registered charity that supports the most challenged young people in the United Kingdom.  The Foundation aims to relieve the needs and suffering of children aged 16 years old and under; in particular those who face challenges caused by:

  • Abuse.
  • Addiction.
  • Child Carers for sick and/or disabled adults, and
  • Homelessness.

UK registered charities with an annual turnover of under £1.5 million may apply for a project grant of up to £2,500 (with no matched funding requirement) which enable young people to:

  • Address a lack of provision (due to a lack of funding from alternative sources) in geographical areas of deprivation and socioeconomic disadvantage.
  • Have a direct impact and respond to a need in an immediate way.
  • Have the best start in life and aim high.
  • Provide immediate support, not just in the short-term but with long-term benefits too, and
  • Respond to one or more of the funding priorities of the7stars Foundation.

The Foundation offers grant funding across the following 4 strands:

  • Project grants of up to £2,500 to cover the costs of projects that respond to one or more of the funding priorities of the 7stars Foundation.
  • Grants for individuals - grants of up to £500 are available for individuals represented by a safeguarding, legal, social or outreach referee. Grants are to promote happiness, offer opportunity, or fulfil potential.
  • Social Impact grants of up to £1,500 for three charities across the year for projects that align with various awareness days, and
  • Shine Bright grants of up to £1,500 for registered charities to purchase educational, well-being, or recreational items for young people, aged 16 years old or under.

Further information, guidance and an online application form is available on the Foundation’s website.
