One-off grants up to £25,000 are available to frontline women’s organisations across the UK that are governed and led by women and actively addressing violence against women and girls in the UK.
ROSA's Stand With Us Fund has been established to support the many organisations run by and for women who stand up and take action every day to address violence against women and girls (VAWG).
The Fund aims to empower and strengthen frontline Violence Against Women and Girls (VAWG) organisations to build safer futures for women and girls. Through this fund, one-year grants of up to £25,000 will be offered to fund organisational development work. Grants are available for the period January 2025 to December 2025
Funding is available to organisations with an average annual income over the last 3 years of between £100,000 and £500,000.
ROSA’s aim for the Fund is to enable organisations to be in a stronger position to survive, thrive and grow by investing in organisational development work such as (please note that this is not an exclusive list):
- Developing strategy.
- Strengthening governance and leadership.
- A stronger voice in the women’s movement.
- Creating stronger alliances and partnerships.
- Increasing fundraising, volunteering and activism.
- Demonstrating impact, and
- More effective systems and processes.
Applications that can demonstrate the following will be prioritised for grant support:
- Operating in the top 20% most disadvantaged areas in the UK. The ERDF Operational Programme provided a helpful list of the 20% most deprived areas in England for the period 2014-2020 in which much of the information is likely to still be valid and can be cross-checked with the Indices of Multiple Deprivation 2019 mapping resources on the GOV.UK website.
- Based in Scotland, Wales or Northern Ireland.
- Led by and for Black and minoritised women and girls.
- Led by and for disabled women, and
- Led by and for LGBTQ+ women and girls.
