Funding is available for organisations and partnerships working in healthcare in the South West of England to share details of evidenced-based innovations that improve the health of people in the South West region.
Following on the success of its previous Evidence into Practice calls, Health Innovation West of England is once again providing comprehensive support to spread evidenced-based innovations that improve the health of people in the West of England.
Health Innovation South West wants to hear from anyone in the West of England working to improve the health and wellbeing of people in their community. Applicants might not work in a traditional ‘healthcare’ role, but if they are improving the health of people in any way then they may be eligible to apply.
Lead applicants should be motivated to champion the spread of their innovation across the West of England into multiple organisations. Health Innovation West of England will prioritise innovations that are currently being delivered to a significant number of people and that indicate a likelihood of scalable impact. The application guidance provides further details about the selection criteria.
No minimum or maximum grant award levels have been provided for this Fund.
Applications are invited from:
- Teams delivering the innovative work on the ground, such as organisations within the following sectors: education, local authorities, voluntary, community, social enterprise and faith (VCSEF), the NHS and adult social care, and
- People who have developed innovations that have some evidence of health benefits when delivered in the West of England.
Applications are not sought for academic research projects or direct applications from manufacturers. However, potential applicants are invited to contact the funder to discuss their project by contacting healthinnowest.innovation@nhs.net or visit the Innovation Exchange for further details.
Further information, guidance and details about how to apply is available on the Health Innovation West of England website.
