Grants of between £1,000 and £5,000 are available to charitable organisations and social enterprises in areas across the UK in which the Clarion Housing Group has a presence to enable Clarion residents of all ages to get online and develop the skills and confidence to use the internet safely in everyday life.
Clarion Housing is one of the UK’s largest housing associations. It’s a national organisation with its head office in London and several offices around the country. Clarion Housing owns 125,000 homes and has a presence in the majority of local authorities in England.

Clarion Futures is a charitable foundation that gives residents in Clarion Housing residents access to the support, services and tools they need to make their goals and ambitions a reality. It provides opportunities, so that everyone who lives in a Clarion home, irrespective of their background, can create their future.
The objects of the Charity are:
- To develop the capacity and skills of the members of any socially and economically disadvantaged community so that they are better able to participate more fully in society.
- The prevention or relief of poverty or financial hardship, and
- To promote social inclusion for the public benefit by preventing people from becoming socially excluded.
The following schemes are currently open to applications:
- Clarion Futures Digital Grants - Digital Grants of between £1,000 and £5,000 are available for projects committed to getting Clarion residents, and the wider community, online. Projects must aim to support individuals to improve their digital skills to safely and confidently access online services on a regular basis. Applications are currently open and must be submitted by 12 noon on Wednesday 2 October 2024.
- Clarion Futures Digital Device Scheme - designed to provide access to digital devices on a short term or long-term basis as part of the wider Clarion Futures Digital offer. The Digital Device Scheme is by invitation only, so to be eligible to apply, you must be referred by a member of the Clarion Futures Team. The Digital Grants scheme is aimed at supporting:
- Clarion Housing residents of all ages.
- Residents who do not have access to appropriate digital resource.
- Residents who have never used the internet before.
- Residents who may have previously used some online facilities but who may not be aware of the full potential to use the internet in their everyday lives, and
- Residents with limited internet skills.
The deadline for applications is 12 noon (midday) on Wednesday 2 October 2024, with decisions on funding expected to be announced towards the end of November 2024.
