Queen Elizabeth II Memorial Woodland
The Queen Elizabeth II Memorial Woodland is situated in the Northwest of the cemetery, overlooking the beautiful surrounding countryside.
A number of trees in an assortment of varieties have been planted for families to choose from. Each tree can accommodate two sets of ashes, which are interred loosely to minimise the impact on the ground surrounding the tree and roots. A cast aluminium plaque is supplied in memorial. These are dark green and silver in colour, and are mounted on a wooden stake near to the tree.
Once at a suitable level of maturity we allow the grass around the saplings in this section to grow long through the year, promoting native wildlife.
Full burials can also be accommodated in this woodland, near to the trees set aside for ashes interments.
