Royal Victoria Park - Botanical Gardens
Elegant landscaped gardens in a romantic park setting, ideal for small intimate events, open air theatre and art installations
The Botanical Gardens, set in the north-west corner of Royal Victoria Park, are one of the park's most attractive and tranquil features.
Formed in 1887 and set within around 4 hectares (10 acres), the gardens feature a variety of specimen trees and shrubs, beautiful and heavenly scented planting, calming water features, and a collection of antique shrub roses, all on a level, gated site with easily accessible paths.
Within this romantic setting is hidden the Temple of Minerva, a charming small venue overlooking a secluded pond and bordered by a pretty rose garden. It provides a perfect setting for intimate events, and a sympathetic context for an outdoor exhibition or an art installation.
If you are looking for a location for a small and intimate ceremony or celebration, please contact Bath Venues or visit their website.
