Who are we consulting and why?
We are consulting on our planned school term dates, to give an opportunity to raise any issues or provide comments before they are confirmed. As in previous years, we have discussed our proposed dates with neighbouring authorities to try and offer similar term dates, for the convenience of parents, carers and schools.
What are we consulting on?
These are the proposed school term dates for the 2023 to 2024 academic year. This represents a 195-day school year, which includes 5 in-service training days, when teachers will attend, but students will not.
