On-street parking in Bath

Bath offers a large number of on-street bays for short stay parking. Select a tab below to view a street map or a street list with locations, pricing and payment options for on-street parking.

How to pay

• Charges apply every day, 8am to 7pm. Outside these times and on bank holidays, you can park free of charge.
• Cashless parking through the MiPermit app is available at all Pay and Display locations (you will need to know the code of your location for example, 751028)
• All Pay and Display machines accept coins
• No Pay and Display machines accept notes

There is no charge for motorcyclists in on-street parking bays. Maximum stay restrictions still apply, and you must park your motorcycle in a designated bay.

Blue Badge holders can park for free in any on-street parking bay, with no maximum stay restriction. You can also view on-street Disabled parking bays in central Bath on a map.

Single yellow lines

Most single yellow lines are not individually signed in Bath as this is a national restriction with no requirement to display signs in individual streets.

Where not explicitly signed, the operational hours of a single yellow line will be the same as the Zone the location falls within. Zones operate 7 days a week but their operational hours can differ by zone. The operational hours are advertised by signage at the vehicular access entry and exit points to each zone.
