Taxi tariffs are decided by several factors, including:

While your journey is under 5 miles, £0.20 will be added to your fare for each additional 155 yards you travel after the initial 330 yards.
£0.30 will also be added to your fare for each additional minute of waiting time after the initial 1 minute and 38 seconds.
Once your journey reaches 5 miles, the distance for the additional £0.20 charges will be reduced to every 127 yards.

Additional charges
There are additional charges for the following.

Dogs | £0.50 for each dog (except assistance dogs) |
Children | Adult tariff applies for two children under the age of 12 |
Fouling charge | £100 for vomiting, urinating, defecating and spilling food or drink |
There are no additional charges for wheelchairs.
