Notice is given that Bath and North East Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 intends to make an order the effect of which will be to temporarily introduce a footpath closure in that length of:
•Footpaths Kempthorne Lane from its junction with Kempthorne Lane (near property number 48) extending east to its point with Cycle Path Frome Road to Kempthorne Lane. USRN: 47961730.
•Cycle Path Frome Road to Kempthorne Lane from its junction with A3062 Frome Road extending north to its junction with Kempthorne Lane. USRN: 47961738.
This order is required because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road to enable National Grid to excavate and lay new cabling for future new supply to St Martins Primary on the 21st April 2025 for a maximum period of 6 months. The road will only be restricted as and when traffic signs are in position and may not be affected for the whole of the period but only for so long as is necessary to execute the works. Works are anticipated to be for TWENTY TWO DAYS.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: A3062 Frome Road – A367 Wellsway – Footpaths Kempthorne Lane – Kempthorne Lane - Footpaths Kempthorne Lane – Vice versa.
