Temporary introduction of a no right-turn restriction

Notice is given that Bath and North East Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under section 16a of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 intends to make an order the effect of which will be to close temporarily to vehicles High Street / Crown Hill, Upper Weston, Bath.
- High Street will be closed from its junction with Trafalgar Road extending to its junction with Crown Road.
- Crown Hill will be closed from its junction with High Street extending to its junction with Lucklands Road.
- The one-way restriction on High Street will be temporarily suspended from its junction with Crown Road extending to its junction with Trafalgar Road.
- The left turn only restriction will be temporarily suspended on High Street and a right turn only restriction will be introduced, which means vehicles travelling southbound on Trafalgar Road can only turn right onto High Street during the remembrance parade.
This order is required to prevent obstruction during the Remembrance Day Parade and will be operative on Sunday 10th November 2024. The closure is scheduled to be between the times of 10:30 hrs to 11:30 hrs.
