WaterSpace Study

The WaterSpace Study (2017) is an evidence based approach to how we manage, maintain, and improve our waterways. The WaterSpace Study was developed in partnership with the Canal & River Trust, Environment Agency, and Wessex Water. The Study  contains over 35 project ideas, many of which are now being delivered, including opportunities to create moorings improve riverside green spaces, create safe access points to the river, and improve towpaths.

The WaterSpace Study was identified by the Royal Town Planning Institute as one of the top 8 projects in the UK to improve the natural environment, it won the 2017 overall South West Awards and best entry in the 'Excellence in Spatial Planning' category.
