Our Practical Wildlife Management for Wellbeing days are framed by the 5 Pathways to Nature Connectedness:
- Contact
- Beauty
- Emotions
- Compassion
- Meaning
The day will provide you with an opportunity to try something different, learn skills in practical nature conservation, and discover ways to help care for wildlife, on the farm and at home. They are held in a relaxed and supportive environment and are aimed at those feeling socially isolated and/or experiencing mild depression, low mood, anxiety or stress.
The Community Farm is a not-for-profit social enterprise based in the Chew Valley. We are a nature-friendly, organic farm, working with a network of producers who share our ethics, to supply fresh, local and organic food to hundreds of households in the local area.
Any surplus that we make is reinvested into our Community programmes to fund volunteering sessions, wellbeing courses and events at The Farm; as well as helping us manage the land in a way that benefits all life.
