If you change your business name, relocate your business premises or your business ceases to operate, it is vital that you tell us about any changes to your circumstances as soon as possible.
If you move in to or out of a non-domestic property, or you own a property that is occupied or vacant, contact us straight away so we can:

Report a change of circumstance
What you will need
When reporting a change of circumstance, depending on the type of change you are reporting, you may need to provide different information or evidence when submitting your report. Use the following list of the most commonly reported changes to understand what you will need to provide with your submission.
If your business is moving into a new property, please provide a copy of the new lease and, if applicable, your company number.
If your business is moving out of a property, please provide a copy of the Surrender of Lease, any removal invoices and pictures of the empty property.
If your business is taking occupation of an empty property, please provide evidence of your new occupation, pictures of items in situ and any delivery notes corresponding to the business' new property.
If your business is vacating a property and leaving it empty, but still holds a lease for the property, please provide dated pictures of the empty property and any removal invoices corresponding to the vacated property.
If your business is changing its name or contact address, please provide a link to the agreed changes on companies house.
