The Butterfly Section at Haycombe provides a special private burial area for bereaved families to visit after the loss of a baby or young child.

Baby Vase Blocks

Individual memorials, available for those who prefer to have their own private plot. With a backdrop of the conservation area, these high-quality granite stones provide a space just for your child. A flower vase is provided, so there is always somewhere to leave floral tributes.

This option offers: 

  • Ashes can be interred in the ground beneath if required 
  • Memorial plaque formed from polished black granite 
  • Plaque features gold lettering
  • Artwork is an option
  • Gold-coloured flower vase provided for floral tributes to be left 

This option costs £565.00 for a 50 year lease. (1st April 2024 - 31st March 2025 price)

The Butterfly Shrubbery

A round, barked bed. This is a communal bed where ashes are close to each other.

This option offers: 

  • Ashes can be interred into the ground within the bed. 
  • Optional metallic silver Shrubbery Plaque
  • You can choose the inscription and graphics to personalise the plaque 

This option costs £128.00 for a 25 year lease. (1st April 2024 - 31st March 2025 price)

The Forest Friends Frieze

A scene of animals and flowers.

This option offers:

  • Perspex butterflies in pink, blue or yellow 
  • Your child's name and a choice of wording can be placed on the frieze 

This option costs £98.00 per butterfly for a 10 year lease. (1st April 2024 - 31st March 2025 price)

Personalisation

You can add a polished granite plaque on The Butterfly Tower, with the inscription of your choice in enamelled cut lettering and a butterfly motif. There are containers around the bottom of the tower for fresh floral tributes.
