What we are consulting on
We are asking you for your views on the key health priorities we should consider in our updated Joint Health and Wellbeing Strategy (JHWS).
The strategy will set out the health and wellbeing priorities in the area for the next 5 to 10 years. It will guide our work and the work of the NHS, voluntary and community groups and other key partners in the area.
We also want to know what actions you think we and other organisations could take to improve health services in the area, as well as your experiences of NHS health services and social care services in the last 12 months.
Who we are consulting and why
We are consulting Bath and North East Somerset residents, as well as NHS employees, council staff and representatives of community or voluntary sector organisations.
It is vital that we collect feedback from as many people as possible so that we can best understand the health and wellbeing needs of people across the area.
Your feedback will help us to develop a strategy that addresses these priorities.

What happens next
When this consultation has closed, we will publish the results on our website, and we will use your responses to identify the key health priorities we should include in our updated JHWS.
Later this year, we will engage with the community through focus groups and committee meetings to discuss the agreed priorities and further develop the strategy.
We will then hold a second consultation at the end of the year so you can give your feedback on the final draft of the strategy.
View the project timeline for an overview of how we expect the scheme to progress.
