You can pay your social housing rent online or by phone. We strongly encourage you to set up a direct debit to pay the amount you owe on a regular date each month.
This service is only for people who are in long-term social housing, directly managed by B&NES Homes. If you are homeless, and we have provided you with temporary accommodation, please visit our separate service to pay your B&NES Homes temporary accommodation rent or other charges.
Before you pay
Housing Services have given you a rental account number for your tenancy, and you will need to use this to make your payment.
You can pay using most credit and debit cards. Unfortunately we don't accept American Express.
Whichever way you pay, our systems will ask you to pay your commercial rent. This is the correct option for social housing rent, and is not a mistake.

By phone
You can pay your social housing rent by calling our automated payments line on 0300 456 0632. This line is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Calls to this number cost 3p per minute, plus your telephone provider's access charge.
