Royal Victoria Park - The Dell
A secluded forest glade, full of woodland magic – The Dell is perfect for small intimate events, outdoor art exhibitions or unforgettable children's activities
Step into the Great Dell, and you’re instantly in another world. This enchanting space, richly planted with unusual and specimen trees, and full of birdsong and squirrels, has more than a hint of magic.
Situated next to the Botanical Gardens, in the northwest corner of Royal Victoria Park, the Dell forms a tiny, steep-sided valley. Enjoy the intimacy of leafy clearings on the forest floor, criss-crossed by winding paths, where every turn offers a new perspective. Or take a stroll along the spectacular aerial walkway around the back of the glade, which provides breathtaking, tree-framed views amongst the greenery and across the wider park.
