Use this page to learn about venue hire fees for outdoor events. Different rates apply for charity and commercial events and there are fees for optional extra services. Our team can help you find and book our venues for a range of outdoor events.
Venue hire payments and terms
A non-refundable administration fee is charged when you apply to hire a venue. Half of the land hire charge must be paid when we accept the event booking, and the rest is due at least 6 months before your event. A refundable damage deposit bond is required at least eight weeks before the event.
Once all payments have been received and the application has been approved, a Licence for Land Hire will be issued.
We will send a charge sheet with payment instructions so you can make the required payments.
Please make sure you read our Terms and Conditions. You will be bound by the conditions stated within the Land Hire Agreement.

A land hire damage deposit bond (£500 - £5000, depending on the size and nature of your event) will be required at least 8 weeks prior to your event. We will return the bond within 28 days of you leaving the site (if returnable in whole or in part).
The deposit could be forfeited in whole or in part for nuisance or damage, or breaching the limit on use of the site. Bonds are outside the scope of VAT, therefore no VAT applies.
