This page explains who we'd like to take part in this public engagement, what we'd like to ask and why, and how to have your say on this important project. We've also included details about how we'll use your feedback to progress the project.
Who we are engaging with
As part of our commitment to giving people a bigger say, we are inviting local residents, businesses and organisations to get involved.
Every community is different and has its own needs, so it’s important for local people to put forward their ideas to address the issues that affect you. This will help make sure we can develop a tailored Liveable Neighbourhood scheme that works for everyone.
What we are asking about
We want to get your views on any of the 15 areas that are relevant to you, and help them to become better Liveable Neighbourhoods. We are asking for your feedback on the following:
- Your connection to the area
- What's best about the area for you
- The most pressing transport and mobility related issues for you, and the impact they have
- The measures you think would improve the area, and how they would affect you
How to take part
Next steps
The public engagement was open until 11:59pm on 3 January 2022. You can still view the online feedback, although we're no longer accepting new comments.
We have now analysed all the feedback gathered and this will help guide the next stages of design for the 15 areas.
We have published our engagement feedback report. This will inform our decisions on what schemes to fast track, and which to move to co-design.

In early 2022 we will begin our co-design stage. We plan to hold a number of collaborative workshops with local communities as part of this stage. These will help identify the best solutions and develop a preferred design.
We will also be looking to fast track schemes that we think can make an immediate impact.
